I confess I underestimated Toledo. This is a top-notch world class zoo 👍. 🐊🐆🧸🐅🐒🐠🐟🐧🐯🦁🦓🦍🦏. My only complaint is that on such a hot day in the middle of june, there were very few working drinking fountains, and no water bottle refill stations at all. Personally I don't like spending $10 or whatever for a coke. So I just carry a water bottle and most places have water bottle refill stations these days. other than that, I enjoyed the animals and the aquarium specially the polar bears were fun to watch wrestling with each other in the water. And a lot of historic architecture in the zoo as well.
